2025 - 2026 exams information
GCSE Results Day
Thursday 20th August 2026
Students will be invited into school to collect their results - timings will be confirmed during the summer term. Please be aware that results will not be given to students over the phone or via email. Please direct any queries about exams to enquires@hillcrest.bham.sch.uk
Contingency day
The designation of a ‘contingency day’ within the common examination timetable is in the event of national or local disruption to examinations. It is part of the awarding bodies’ standard contingency planning for examinations. The contingency date for the 2026 GCSE exams is Wednesday 24th June 2026. Candidates must remain available should an awarding body need to invoke its contingency plan.
