At Hillcrest School we recognise the importance of homework in developing students’ knowledge and skills beyond the classroom and extending their learning. The setting of regular, meaningful homework will help each child to make good progress and accelerate their academic success.

Homework will be set and explained in class but also posted on Class Charts (Log into your account). 

All students and parents/carers have a personal login to Class Charts, our online platform for managing and monitoring extended learning. Through Class Charts, you can view the tasks your child has been set, along with clear submission deadlines.

Class Charts helps students to keep track of their workload and enables parents/carers to support their child’s learning at home. We hope that using the platform will help students develop strong organisation and time-management skills, meet deadlines and stay on top of their extended learning.
